Memories Fade to Me

When destiny seems to fade,
For what its worth now...
Everything can only be counted by a single dice throw
Or however the fates decide to partake
In life’s only worthy game.
To death with thine open eyes,
And lips locked in perfections smile—
Part of thoughtless notions
Pass beyond my minds only ambition.
Take what can be mine,
Nothing more—
For my soul I own
But all else is merely on borrowed time
Simply trinkets in life’s game.
To live with you,
Is to be apart of everyone and no one,
But watch me still as if nothings wrong.
Forget me when everyone else does
As I am my own memory of thee.
