Moon Light

Its graceful presence watches over,
Moving elegantly across the pale black sky.
Utter glory and beauty
Beams across the Earth so barren and true.
This is the beginning of moonlight,
And the end of joyful times.
The street lamps flicker,
As the sun retreats into its solitude for the night.
You are so calm and sweet—
As you walk on cherry petals.
You are the past of men,
With the future of all in your face.
