Reached the End

I have reached the end,
Of this journey I was to face.

Nothing more than pictures,
The images of a night in hell
Like masons chipping away,
At this horrid place.

Evil is all I have known,
For it has already claimed this soul—
Leaving my heart in solid form
Unable to catch a beat—
Where love was once before.
