Shadow of the World

Let me be in the shadow of the world,
So I may retreat into forbidden woods,
Where men are not supposed to lead.

This will be the place—
Where memories shall try to brace
Finding their support
As the darkness begins to rule,
Within the temptation of this ritual.

For within this world,
I have created my sphere
For which to influence
Those who choose to listen.
