The Destiny I've Avoided
Have you seen dreams of prosperity,
Where men shall be free
And women are among their destined places.
This is my world, for with I have created evil
In a mass of darkness—
That has encircled the Earth.
Who could remember the love in my heart,
No one for I hath killed them all—
Who dared to tread on my ground in my land.
This shall be my creation;
My fears!
My desires for depression!
Never has a man, nor any—
Wielded themselves upon Excalibur's blade,
Wishing for their lives to bring them more pain
And agony to an already bloody end.
I have knocked on it once or twice,
Death's door,
Ceasing only because the door was locked to me.
His door was shut to me, a door leading
Beyond heaven into a realm
Of beliefs and fantasies of a man who has dreams.
Now all I can do is write,
My only window from the past
And into my deepest and unchained hearts hope.
