To the Father of All

If only in Your face that my purpose
is recognized then
there shall I stand.

If in Your glory my strength
is its strongest then
it will be there that my
courage shall rest.

If for Your mercy can a sinner
be more than condemned
then there I kneel at Your
feet to be seen by You
and cleansed by Your Blood.

For since I lack
purpose,
strength, and
forgiveness... my heart will sink
deeper, but with the blood of Your
Son You have raised me from
death.
Reborn and renewed.

So here I stand, rest and kneel,
My Lord,
My Creator --
to be a servant among Your
House, to sing the name of He whom
deserves all the glory, forever and
ever.
