Trinity

Slashes of immortal blood,
Deaths of a thousand worthy soldiers.
With the swords of Destiny,
Stabbed in their chests.
And their hearts strewn along the path of life,
As they are crushed by passing carts.
What a dream to have?
Some life to live in this place.
“Say nothing but good about the dead,
For there is nothing left for them.”
Have you felt this before,
Or has this become new.
It is the way of the ever-expanding universe,
Shall it change its way so that you are pleased, No!
You cannot stop,
Or yield what is already to be.
If I could stop light from shining,
Then the heavens would quiver at my place.
But I am nothing but a man,
In the land of Trinity,
With the gate of Infinity on close guard
From the evil born here.
