Two Steps Into the Light

Two steps into the light,
one step back into the darkness.
Walk the fine line from sanity into
madness, hard for anyone to grasp when
there is no railing.

We can try to be good and make the
difference or we can turn
to the easy path where betrayal
is the only solution.

It can be easy to sin, and hard to be righteous,
and where sin is fleeting,
righteousness can be eternal if you step
into His light, and not some
replica of a human conjuring.
