What Is Love?

Do you know love?
Does it keep your heart warm at night?
Can you keep it near you when you are hurt,
Will it comfort you to the very next day?

Your love should know your heart,
How you look at them when you’re around.
Do you understand their heart—?

Not beauty, but love is what makes it great,
I have seen such love,
But even this does not last to “Infinities Gate.”
Have you known love like this,
Or have you wanted to experience it.

From what I have seen,
And what I have known
Has created a shell to which no one can see through,
Because I cannot love anymore,
For fear I might be destroyed by it.
