Where Our Lives Mattered

Published on Oct 1, 2002

When we try so hard to be noticed,
Can our souls bear the person we became.
Shall it be a simple action to take
Or should our lives be the price,
To change everything back.
Will the losers always fail,
Where the winners take all from their victims.

Destiny is all a noble triumph

As evolution pushes us along this destructive path
To the end of all we have sacrificed to be here.
Among the trees,
Bearing fruits for a new day.
Can we eat such sweet nectar—
Since its very existence caused our very downfall.
Thrown from paradise,
Like bad dogs
Who disobeyed their master,
Because their brains finally felt the pain.
