Have you watched the sun rise?
See it when it falls behind the mountains?
Can you just try to understand the heavens,
Shall you interpret the book of the Dead.

Trials have been set,
The ways of men must be met.
There’s no other way for this to be understood,
Can you try and tell me otherwise.
But I know what is right and wrong.

If only my heart could feel as certain as this,
Unfortunately it doesn’t know,
What to let in?
And what to keep at a distance?

Should I trust you?
What is there to know,
Other than the voice of darkness—
Whispering in your ear.
