Loneliness is the fruit of a new day,
And passion is the heart of a girl.
How can I know you?
Understand you like a love I never had.
Do you know what you mean to me?
Can your eyes see the man,
Your heart has made me now?
Have you known what I mean,
In this day of light and love?
Shall this be my new way,
To feeling the warmth and love of another’s heart?
I will no longer care for an unworthy soul,
All I want to know is what you’ve inside.
That un-kept desire for knowledge deep within,
To which drives your passion to win another day of love—
From those around you.
This will be my tragedy,
Because I have finally understood
That you are just what I needed.
